🤝 How to Set Up and Use the RealHomes CRM
The RealHomes CRM plugin introduces a powerful all-in-one Customer Relationship Management system to your website, enabling you to manage leads, track inquiries, organize deals, and streamline your real estate communication process — all directly from your RealHomes Dashboard.
Follow the steps below to install, configure, and start using the RealHomes CRM system effectively.
🔌 Step 1: Install & Activate the Plugin
- Navigate to Dashboard → RealHomes → Plugins.
- Locate RealHomes CRM in the list of bundled plugins.
- Click Install, and once installed, click Activate.
Once activated, new CRM-related sections will appear. You’ll find CRM Settings under the RealHomes menu in your WordPress admin area and a Properties CRM section in your frontend dashboard.
⚙️ Step 2: Configure CRM Settings
Go to Dashboard → RealHomes → CRM Settings to configure your CRM system.
The settings are divided into multiple tabs for easy management.
⚙️ General Settings
- Empty Fields Fallback Value: Define a fallback value (such as a dash
-) to display when a field is empty.
👤 Leads Settings
- Name Prefixes: Add or edit titles for leads (e.g., Mr, Ms, Broker, Investor).
- Lead Types: Define categories for leads (e.g., Prospect, Referral, Tenant).
- Lead Statuses: Set pipeline stages (e.g., New, Contacted, Qualified, Won, Lost).
📩 Inquiries Settings
- Inquiry Types: Define the types of inquiries clients can make (e.g., Purchase, Rent, Valuation, Tour).
- Inquiry Statuses: Set stages such as New, In Progress, Closed, or Awaiting Response.
💼 Deals Settings
- Deal Stages: Define the stages of your sales pipeline (e.g., In Progress, On Hold, Won, Lost).
- Deal Stage Colors: Assign colors for quick visual identification.
- Deal Probabilities: Define success probabilities (e.g., 10%, 50%, 90%).
- Deal Last Steps: List recent actions (e.g., Initial Contact, Proposal Sent).
- Deal Next Steps: Set next actions (e.g., Schedule Meeting, Send Contract).
✅ Tasks Settings
- Task Types: Define categories (e.g., Research, Meeting, Follow Up).
- Task Statuses: Manage progress (e.g., Pending, In Progress, Completed).
- Task Priorities: Set priority levels (e.g., Low, Medium, High, Critical).
🧭 Step 3: Understanding the CRM Dashboard
After configuring settings, go to the Properties CRM section in your Frontend Dashboard.
This is the central hub for managing all CRM activities.

The CRM dashboard provides quick insights including:
- Activities: Recent actions such as new leads or closed deals.
- Leads Stats: Performance overview for the last 24 hours, week, and month.
- Deals Stats: Status summaries for deals (In Progress, Won, Lost, etc.).
👥 Leads
Displays all individual leads with details such as Name, Contact Information, Type, Status, and Source.
📨 Inquiries
Lists all property inquiries with key fields such as Lead, Type, Status, Property Type, Area, and Price.
💰 Deals
Your complete sales pipeline view — track progress through Stage, Probability, Agent, Last Step, and Next Step.
📝 Tasks
A dedicated space to manage to-dos and follow-ups. Columns include Task, Description, Status, Priority, and Due Date.
🧩 Step 4: Managing Data via Frontend Dashboard
The RealHomes Frontend Dashboard provides a seamless experience for agents and users to manage CRM data.
From here, they can:
- View all assigned leads
- Track and update lead activity or deal stages
- Change lead status (New, Contacted, Closed, etc.)
- Add internal notes for collaboration
You can also manage your data efficiently using the + Add New, Import, and Export options available on the Leads, Inquiries, Deals, and Tasks pages.
- Click + Add New to create a new record — a modal panel will slide in from the right, allowing you to add details without leaving the page.
- Use Import to bulk upload data.
- Use Export to download CRM entries for reports or backup.
